DESCRIPTION:The Season of Lent begins with the Ancient Tradition of Imposing Ashes in the Sign of the Cross on those who wish to receive them in our Ash Wednesday Midweek Lenten Worship.  We gather to remember who we are as God’s People, and the price He was willing to pay to make us a part of His family.  As we receive the Ashes we are reminded that “we are dust, and to dust we shall return” as a sign of acknowledgement and repentance for sin.\nWe also celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion in celebration of the grace of God which sets us free from sin and brings forgiveness and healing to our lives.  Please join us for this special service, and each week at 7:00pm on Wednesday nights through the Season of Lent as we focus on the theme, “Guided To the Cross”.\nFebruary 14 – Guided to Forgiveness  (Ash Wednesday)\nFebruary 21- Guided to Hope\nFebruary 28 – Guided to Love\nMarch 06- Guided to Peace\nMarch 13- Guided to Trust\nMarch 20 – Guided to Perseverance\n \n“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing,\nbut to us who are being saved it is the power of God”\n1 Corinthians 1:18\n
