OKTOBERFEST!

Sunday, October 9
11:30am in the CLC!

Tickets are available in the Church Office and on
Sunday mornings from now through October 9
(Make checks payable to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church)
$5 / person  –  $15/Family  –  Kids 5 and under FREE!

There will be ONE Worship Service that Sunday at
10am in the Church, followed by Oktoberfest in the CLC!

We start with a Bier Garden in the corner
under the Big Blue & White Canopy:
Giant Pretzels, Assorted Mustards, Specialty Cheeses,
and local Craft Beer on Tap for the Adults

Kids can check out the Storybook Corner with
Scenes from beloved Folktales as tales are read from the
Storybook Folder, plus games and activities just for them!

After the Bier Garden and Storybook Corner
we move on to the main course:

Home made German Food, including…
– Hand Made Bratwurst (prepared the day before by a seasoned crew in our own Kitchen!)
– German Potato Salad (served hot and fresh)
– Sauerkraut (steeped in flavor to top your Brat!)
– Red Cabbage (or “Rotkraut” in German)
– Home made Cranberry-Apple Crisp for Dessert!

There will also be Polka Music, Contests, Door Prizes, and the World-Famous “Bavarian Chicken Dance”!

Bratwurst, Beer, Pretzels & Fixings, Coffee, Tea, and non-alcoholic beverages are all provided for this event through Ticket sales. We ask our members sign up to make and bring German Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, Red Cabbage and Cranberry-Apple Crisp Dessert using generations-old authentic German Recipes!
