Adult Information Class
In 1517 Martin Luther posted his Ninety-five theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg Germany. That simple act changed the world because it addressed certain problems that needed to be addressed within the church.
To clarify the beliefs of the church, Martin also wrote his small catechism for parents to teach their children. Within its pages are the doctrine of what would one day become the Lutheran church.
Prince of Peace is offering an adult information class that will bring the catechism to light. Within this class we will discuss the whats and the whys of the Christian faith, particularly the doctrine and teachings of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
Join us on Sunday afternoon, starting October 2nd, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (14175 NW Cornell Rd.in Portland). Our classes begin at 1:30 pm and usually last about an hour. This is a 13 week study (with breaks for Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day).
All are welcome.
