Where are you going? Where is your faith taking you? Do you even know? When is the last time you asked God for direction or read His Word to help you find it? Yesterday? Last week?…..last year?

In life we are all going somewhere yet so many have no idea where. Their lives are shallow walkways to an unknown destination that may be good or bad. So many people are lost, traveling a journey with no landing spot, no prospects, and no goals. They live, but not really.

God wants you to have direction in life. He wants you to know where you are going. The destination he has planned for you is filled with everlasting joy and peace absent of any pain or sickness. But you have to be willing to follow the narrow path.

Many of us don’t go anywhere for God because we are intimidated by the world. But, fear not, because has God promised you his protection. Isaiah 41:10 gives us this promise, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

He would never expect you to face the unknown alone and He promises to give you the strength to persevere. But you must be willing to go on the adventure. You must be set on walking with Him, not against Him.

Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” Trusting in God’s direction will take you to places that you may never have thought you would ever be. Sometimes it might be challenging, maybe even more than you think you can handle, but trust in God and He will provide your strength.

We all have a purpose under heaven and God has given us all the tools we need to find our victories. We are uniquely different for a reason and that means we must work together to achieve our common goals.

Trying to make a kingdom difference in a world that runs from it, will bring with it tests of will and endurance but, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him” (James 1:12).

Paul told the church in Philippi, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). That promise starts at the beginning of your journey all the way to your glorious reunion with Christ in heaven. Through every trial and tribulation you endure in His name, His strength will become your strength. “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

You can know where you are going because God has promised to take you there. He had the whole adventure planned out for you even before you were born. The world will try to pull you off the narrow path and the wide path to destruction will sometimes be tempting for you, but God will be your strength if your willing to take the journey. Trust in Him with all of you heart and soul and mind and strength. He has amazing plans for you. Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father, thank you for your guidance and Your strength as we go to the places you have planned for us. Give us courage for the journey and endurance through the trials. Help us to find our final destination by working together for the common purpose of bringing as many people as we can with us. Amen.
